Update Airtel Launches Combo Prepaid Recharge Packs to Offer Data, Talktime, Tariff With 28 Days Validity : Airtel is facing an uphill battle to reclaim its top spot as India’s largest telecom operator. The company has been struggling with revenue and customer loss ever since the launch of Reliance Jio.

With the launch of several offers and plans that it had recently launched, it is hoping to sustain its user base. And in this regard, now, the company has launched a range of combo prepaid packs that give users multi-fold benefits including extended talk time, mobile data, price as well as validity.

New combo plans:

According to the telecom major, the plans have been designed based on intense research and feedback from their customers. Airtel found from feedback that customers have demanded that they need higher talk time as well as mobile data built into its plans and bundle all these benefits into a single plan, rather than forcing them to purchase individual data packs and voice call packs. After the feedback, the company has gone onto launch several plans that bundle in data and voice call benefits with varying validity options. Here are the plans explored.

Airtel’s Rs. 35 Plan:

The first plan is priced at Rs. 35 and this offers a talk time value of Rs. 26.66. The tariff for voice calls in this prepaid plan is 60 paise per minute for all local, STD and calls to landline phones. This plan also comes with 100 MB of mobile data. The plan also has a fairly reasonable validity period of 28 days.

Airtel’s Rs. 65 Plan:

The second plan is the Rs. 65 plan, which offers a full talk time value of Rs. 65. This scheme also comes with a voice call tariff of 60 paise per minute for all local, STD as well as landline calls. This plan also comes with 28 days validity while the mobile data on offer is 200 MB for the entire validity period.

Airtel’s Rs. 95 Plan:

The last and final plan that has been launched is the Rs. 95 plan, which will also offer a full talk time value of Rs.95 for the validity period. The tariff on this plan is slashed by half, as all local, STD and landline voice calls are priced at just 30 paise per minute. This plan offers significant mobile data with 500 MB of free data for the validity period that is 28 days.
All these three are low-cost prepaid plans that are aimed at tier 2 cities and rural areas. These segments are seen as the markets where Airtel can expand its affordable mobile services offerings to users.
