How To Apply For Aadhar Card In Assam Via Offline?

Assam to begin Aadhar Card issuing process from 1st December 2017.

  1. At first, you have to visit your nearest Assam Aadhar enrolment center.
  2. Then provide all your details such as name, email, phone number, address.
  3. Submit xerox copies of required important documents.
  4. Relevant documents include Age proof, identity proof, proof of marriage and residential proof.
  5. Once you submit these details, you will be said to provide your fingerprints (Biometric)
  6. Then give your iris impression via Iris scanner available at the center.
  7. That’s it; You have done all the formalities.
  8. Aadhar card will be sent to your address soon via speed post.

How to Apply Aadhar Card Online Registration In Assam

Firstly you have to apply for Aadhar card via offline. Now you can see your Aadhar card online and then print it. Both printed and original Aadhar card has the same value in terms of acceptance. So, if you are not getting your Aadhar card via speed post or you need Aadhar card quickly for any requirement, then download your Aadhar card online. Here is how you can do it.

  1. Go to the https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
  2. First of all, visit the UIDAI official site,
  3. You will be asked to enter your enrollment number to download the form,
  4. Enter the date and time as mentioned in the acknowledgement slip,
  5. Enter your name, mobile number and area pin code,
  6. Once you enter all these details, you will receive an OTP on your number which will let you download your e-Aadhar card.


As I have already mentioned that the registration process has already started in three districts of Assam. While in a meeting today, Chief Minister of Assam Mr Sarbananda Sonowal said that the registration date for the remaining districts would start in the December 2017.
