Voter ID-Aadhaar Link Online Through NVSP

Step-1: Login using your username, password, and entering the Captcha. If you are a new user, you can also register on the same page.

Step-2: Click on ‘Information of Aadhaar Number by Existing Electors’ → ‘Form 6B’. Choose the form in your preferred language (English/Hindi).

Step-3: In the form, most information will be pre-filled according to your Voter ID. Fill in the relevant information to link your Aadhaar card, like your phone number, email ID, Aadhaar number, place, date, and captcha. 

Step-4: Finally click on ‘Preview’. Check all information and click on ‘Submit’.

Step-5: Take note of the reference ID. You can use it to further track your linking status.


How to Link Voter ID With Aadhaar Through SMS

In case you are unable to complete the Aadhaar-EPIC linking procedure online, know how to link Aadhaar to Voter ID by SMS.


Step 1: Type an SMS in the following format.

ECILINK<SPACE><EPIC No. of Voter ID Card No.>< SPACE><Aadhaar No.>

Step 2: Send it to 51969 or 166 from your registered mobile number.


How to Link Aadhaar Card to Voter ID via the Voter Helpline App?

 Aadhaar Card linked with Voter ID? Though the Election Commission has not made it mandatory, Aadhaar can be linked with Voter ID through mobile to establish the identity of electors and authenticate entries in the electoral rolls. It will also help to detect the registration of a voter in more than one constituency or more than once in the same constituency. you can also visit the official website of National Voters Service Portal: www.nvsp.in.
  1.  Download the Voter Helpline App from App Store or Google Play.
  2.  “Voter Registration” option.
  3. Then click on “Electoral Authentication Form (Form 6B)” and choose “Lets Start”.
  4.  Feed in the official mobile number that is linked to your Aadhaar card.
  5. Enter the OTP that you receive on the registered number and click on “Verify”.
  6. Next, choose the “Yes I Have Voter ID”, click on 
  7. “Next”, and enter your Voter ID number (EPIC), and other details as asked.
  8. Click on “Proceed”, enter your Aadhaar number, your place of authentication, registered mobile number and click “Done.”
  9. Re-check your details and click on Confirm for the final submission of your Form 6B.

The offline method is also simple and is also referred to as “Seeding Through Booth Level Officers”:

  • You can also link your Aadhaar card to your voter ID card by filling out an application form and submitting it to your local Booth Level Officer (BLO).
  • After it has been collected, the data will be transferred somewhere else to be processed.

To connect your EPIC and Aadhaar cards, just dial 1950 on weekdays between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and submit your EPIC and Aadhaar card details.
